Lacking corners, the volumes and spaces created by the coming together of five main volumes- continuous and flowing in their own rights- exude an energy and directionality without a definite vector. Built between 2009 and 2012, it is the first of three buildings designed by Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid located in Beijing, along with Wangjing SOHO and Leeza SOHO. It consists of four interconnected towers with a maximum height of 64 meters and includes commercial space on the lower three floors and offices above. 9,000 m2 of the solution was applied within the development in a bespoke design of contrasting light and dark bands.
